History: 
The Assemblies of God Philippines has its beginning when a group of Filipinos were converted in America, received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. After their graduation from Bible Schools, received the call of God to come back to their native country the Philippines, to reach loved ones and relatives and others for salvation. They organized the Assemblies of God in a meeting on March 22-27, 1940, in San Nicolas, Villasis, Pangasinan. Since then they spread the good news of salvation of Jesus Christ. They do pioneering work beginning in their own local place and also reached out to other places. They established local churches and also Bible Schools where they trained ministers who received the call of God to be ministers/pastors, evangelists, Bible School teachers, missionaries and other ministries to spread the Word of God. At present, the Assemblies of God is composed of twenty (20) districts, eight (8) in Luzon, four (4) in Visayas, and eight (8) in Mindanao. Through these different districts, with their manpower and resources, the command of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19 to spread the Gospel of salvation in Jesus' name continue. Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing.
