BOHOL ISLAND CHURCH OF CHRIST INC.

It was in March 22, 1984 when Ptr. Nemesio Carbonilla with his wife Teresita Carbonilla and their twon daughters arrived in Ubay to preach the good news. The family lived in one of the houses in Tipolo, Ubay where it became the place where they gathered to have the worship service. Pastor Nemesio Carbonilla conducted a series crusades in the different barangays which resulted to several people committed themselves to God, received Him as their personal Lord and Savior and submitted themselves in the water baptism. Some of them were Bro. Zosimo Bernales, Sis. Dionesia Baay and Bro. Rodrigo Mendez in Poblacion, Ubay. In the year 1986, the church in Tipolo moved to Boyles St., Poblacion, Ubay where the fellowship lasted for many years. It was also this year that the church was named Ubay Church of Christ. In the year 1995, the rented house had became part of the memories of Ubay Church of Christ since the church had acquired a lot where the new church building had built. The ministry had grown as the years went by, until the work had reached to nearby towns. In the year 2015, August 11 the church was registered to Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) bearing the name Bohol Island Church of Christ Inc. with the following officials; President: Ptr. Nemesio M. Carbonilla, Vice President: Ptr. Ramil D. Impang, Secretary-Rochelle B. Impang, Treasurer: Leah Milendez, Auditor: Ma. Fe Cardora, Board of Trustees: Ptr. John Mark Millendez, Ptr. Jonas Cadora, and Bro. Rodrigo Mendez. The Bohol Island Church of Christ Inc. is now continuously serving GOd and the people, being grateful to God for keeping the church since 1984 until this present time.
