History:
Our God is a Sovereign God. And We do believe that the establishment of the church in Balingasag is God's arrangements. It is God's heart desire to put a golden lampstand shining in one city for His testimony. He produces some people as an instrument for the spreading of the gospel. Pacifico G. Delica Jr., a minister of Church in Balingasag came in Balingasag in January 1991. He live in Linggangao, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental and preached the Gospel together with his wife Merlyn M. Delica and brothers Teofilo Millan, Timoteo Padayao St., Fidilino Abejuila and Virgilio Balacuit. In 1995, many people got baptized in the name of the Lord then on September 19, 1995 the church in Balingasag, Inc. was established and the chairman at that time was Virgilio Balacuit. Later on, Antonio D. Acot appointed as the new chairman and the members continually worships and praises the gospel up to the present.
