ECUMENICAL CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE PHILIPPINES INC.

After the death of Most Rev. Pedrito F. Famorcan, D.D.- the co-founder with Christ and Supreme Head or Archbishop of the Philippine Ecumenical Christian Church (PECC) who embodies the Holy Spirit's Y2K New Millennium Ecumenical Message: LPFU (Love, Peace, Fellowship and Unity) year 2000, his legacy became tainted drastically where events became the catalysts of change. As PECC evolved from and within the Philippine Independent Church or Iglesia Filipina Independiente founded by Msgr. Gregorio Aglipay so as Ecumenical Catholic Church of the Philippines. This is to preserve and conserve the original ideals, teachings, principles and practices along with the shiny virtues of our noble heroes and martyrs of our faith left most prominently by Father Burgos, Gomez, Zamora, Aglipay, Rizal and the rest of their breed; ECCP is a new name but genuinely and substantially is the original PIC and PECC in teachings, principles, practices, spirits and in truth, reminders of Most Rev. Famorcan genuine exponential legacy. Breaking away from PECC of fast waning principles and virtues would be the best solution in strongly upholding and preserving its truest meaning of its beginning - Godly and patriotic people in different facet. It would be far sublime to start gathering the fragments left of the nurtured principles and maxims of the founders of the church, than to suddenly awaken to the bitter reality of finding ourselves strangers in a church which was once our own and belonging to what was once in true service of its people not structured or blinded by the glitz of gold. The church was conceived by the pioneering generation of PECC's family- founders and core church leaders from God and Most Rev. Famorcan's foundation and ideals to safeguard the following from plunging into extinction: -its vision and mission of making all Filipino first class Christian and First Class Citizen of God and country in thoughts, words and deeds; -its emblem of faith and the spiritual message of Love, Peace, Fellowship and Unity, in Christy for all and in all - truly Filipino, Christian and Ecumenical; exponent of cordial Filipino hospitality contradicting any discrimination. Like the original PECC founded by and before the death of its First Ecumenical Archbishop, ECCP is a God's Church who's all embracing, love to serve the people without prejudice and exclusion, solely for God's glory and honor; aspired and handed down by noble patriots and church leaders to its devotees to the next generation. Even with the passing of Most Rev. Famorcan, he remained our primary aspirations and a model co-founder with God in full essence. ECCP is open day and night to serve all people without distinction of race, color and religion. Presently with a small congregation and thriving ministry registered with the SEC on April 4, 2019 with Registry No. CN201966573, but is much alive in the service of God and fellowmen. Just as its fruit knows a tree, the Ministry will soon yield many spiritual fruits where its branches may bore more bishops, priests, deacons, lay ministers, missionaries and intelligent, dedicated leaders of the faithful laity. For the sound governance of the church, a Head Bishop was appointed by the Clergy and Laity as the Supreme Spiritual Leader with 5 bishops, 4 priest, 10 deacons and several ministers and missionaries starting to scatter over the archipelago with God's favor to continue bless resiliently this truth-adhering Filipino Church to endure against all odds.
