The religious sector was formerly part of Faith Tabernacle Inc. It was established in the year 1986 and started as a House Church. They built a church in the year 2004 near where they built their new church. They started to separate by Chapter and registered at SEC on October 22, 2007 with its name Faith Tabernacle Misamis Oriental Chapter Inc. headed by Senior Pastor Josephine S. Pongcol. They have seven (7) daughter churches located at Brgy. Bal-ason, Brgy. Lawaan, Brgy. Libon, Brgy. Santiago, Brgy. Kal-anan-Malinaw, Brgy. San Juan and Brgy. Binakalan, Gingoog City. They have a total of eight (8) pastors.
