GREAT COMMISSION ALLIANCE FELLOWSHIP (GCAF) INC.

The Great Commission Alliance Fellowship (GCAF) Inc. started with its original name as GCAF West which was an expansion of the Golden City Alliance Fellowship, located at Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City. The intention was to bring the church nearer not only to the uptown residents but also to those living at the western part pf the city. This concept wa in accord with the Golden City Alliance Fellowship vision for a Christ-transformed cities where people live rghteously, justly, peacefully and abundantly. It is also a great commission for everyone of us to go and make disciples, share and preach the gospel to all places and cities. (Matthew 28:19-20) With the blessing an dapproval of the Golden City Alliance Fellowship Church Ministry Team, The GCAF West as it was named, was formed as another congregation with Rev. Dr. Ferdinand S. Pabrua, then the Senior Pastor of Golden City Alliance Fellowship Main as the lead Pastor. The expressed agreement was that GCAF West wil be under the supervision of the main church administratively and operationally. The 1st worship gathering then took off sometine in September, 2014 at Cinema 3, Level 2 of SM City, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City and conducted its regular worship service at 10:00AM every Sunday. Regular churchgoers at Golden City Alliance Fellowship Main in Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City who are residing at the uptown area automatically joined the new congregation. Newdevelopment happened, a decision was made and agreed that the gCAF West that congregates at the SM City will become a self-governing, self-sustaining, self-propagating nd independent church, which will operate separately from the Golden City Alliance Church. Consequently, it was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Cagayan de Oro Etension Office and was issued a Certificate of Incorporation on April 1, 2015. The following ministrie were then organized: the Praise and Worship Team presently renamed as Worship Camps in three groups, the Youth Ministry, the Women Ministry, the Kid's Ministry and the Adult and Young Professionals. Recently, Great Commission Alliance Fellowship (GCAF) Inc. has three (3) existing congregations temporarily named as follows: (1) G.COM at Cinema 3, Level 2, SM City, located at Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City; (2) G.COM Tagpangi, located at Tagpangi, Cagayan de Oro City which was declared as a satellite church of GCAF INC., thru Board Resolution sometime April, 2016 and (3) G.COM at Mega Screen, Level 4, SM CdO Downtown Premier, located at Recto Avenue, Lapasan, cagayan de Oro City which was declared as exonasion church thru a Board Resolution sometime in May, 2017. There are more than 200 members/worshippers as of April 2018, and is continuously increasing every Sunday with new guests and visitors. Despite the odds and all the trials, GREAT COMMISSION Alliance Fellowship(GCAF) Inc. continues to grow as a congregation heading towards the attainment of its mission and vision.
