HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE EAST IN THE PHILIPPINES AND ASIA PACIFIC, INC.

The Eastern Catholic Church Metropolitan See of the Philippines and Asia Pacific operates in Luzon area. We, the Bishops, Priests, Clergy and Faithful in Mindanao decided to incorporate our Church here and name her HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE EAST IN THE PHILIPPINES AND ASIA PACIFIC for this Church is inspired by the Theology, Liturgy and Teachings of the Church of the East. This Church is based in Cagayan de Oro City. This was created after we met the Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East namely: His Holiness Mar Gewargis III of Irbil Iraq with Metropolitan Mar Aprem of India, Synod Secretary Mar Awa of Modesto California and some other Bishops of this Holy Church, namely: the Church of the East. In the first 3 months of practicing Christianity Service in a secluded and remote mountainous area in Sitio Tinago part El Mundo Brgy. Natumolan, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, Bishop Andres H. LLagas initiated the construction of a chapel by soliciting for construction materials from the people of the said community. For a time, they are having their service every 1st Sunday of the month and eventually got their new schedule of mass gatherings and had their church named as Mother of Christ Church.
