Sixteen years ago, Rev. Anthony Paul G. Sorongon had received a confirmation of his calling through a foreign minister visited to a local church where he was trained up. He was involved in a youth ministry leadership at that time, until he was appointed as the host pastor of Christian Fellowship Center for Mindanao. He was trying to extend and excel the calling which he received from God. In year 2006, he went to the Republic of Sudan-North Aftrica, under the sponsorship of the Filipino Community Christian Fellowship based in Khartoum, Sudan. He was appointed as host pastor handling the Filipino fellowship, performing counseling and equipping Church leaders. As time goes by, he went back to the Philippines and took back the ministry at the Christian Fellowship Center of Mindanao and was appointed again as Lead Pastor. Year 2013, he noticed that the Church where he belonged was changing and shifting into another sect or denomination and belief. Year 2015 to be exact, Reverend Sorongon was trying to dance with the flow of the Church administration and trying to fix some issues but nothing happens. However, by prayers and advises of other Senior Ministers, Rev. Sorongon started a new ministry with some other followers and engaged with many streets meetings, bible studies in different areas in Bislig City. People from all walks of life coming to the Lord and experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, gospel was preached everywhere and accepted by many as their personal savior and Lord...the elite, the poor, criminals, by-standers, the widow and maiden, old and young because GOD has no respecter of persons. The Lord directed to establish an non-denominational fellowship which was named "Light Christian Fellowship Center" under the leadership of Reverend Anthony Paul G. Sorongon, Mth, DD. The Light Christian Fellowship Center was officially commissioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. CN20153663 on July 27, 2015 with the objective of propagating and disseminating the gospel of every tribe, tongue, people and nation thru prayer gatherings, bible training and studies, fellowships, seminar and conference.
