THE PASTOR MANTICAO BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH, INC.

The beginnings of Bible Baptist Church Manticao are rooted in God's intervention and transformation of the life of Pastor Leo S. Lapisigue that was given in 1993, send out from the Mother Church, Metro Iligan Bible Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Fulgenio V. Pontillas. On November 7, 1993, the first Sunday service was done with the attendance of 20 believers. Every church member was so passionate and focused on God's ministry and because of their faith and generosity, the church bought a parcel of land (412 sqm). located at Purok 18, Poblacion, Manticao, Misamis Oriental. In 1996, the church have grown by its members to 80 people believers, and all of them were already baptized and followed the Lord. In the same year, the church building was built even the staff house building. As the years passed by, the Lord gave the increase as He saw and know the heart of Pastor Leo. The church members become approximately 300 members and more. But some of them moved out from other places and have gone abroad and the remaining are 200 believers/church members in attendance. Because of His grace, the church owned another parcels of lot from the same address. One of it measures 883 sqm, 993 sqm, 200 sqm, and 333sqm. On that lot, the Pastor and its church members agreed and planned to put some basketball court, school buildings, another staff house and the house of Pastor Leo S. Lapisigue. And all of the plans were realized and everyone was so thankful to God in it. As the days go by, the church grow and grow every day and joyfully waiting on that grows appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
