THE PASTOR RIVERSPRING BAPTIST BIBLE CHURCH, INC.

Sometime in December 1998, the church Riverspring Baptist Bible Church prayed for an outreach mission in Dalipuga, Iligan City because some of our members reside there and longed to have a nearer place of worship. Months have passed and I felt the calling of God to fill in the need of mission work in Dalipuga area to start to a work there. I prayed and fasted to clarify God's calling in me and later I realized that He has a plan for my life in reaching people to the gospel of God. On June 1999, I informed my church pastor about the burden to start a work in Dalipuga but he stated that I must stay for a year in our church to gain more ideas about mission work. Fortunately, on 14th day of May 2000 my pastor, Pastor Ruben P. Sulapas ordained and gave me a license to preach and perform religious rites related to my work assignments. By the following days we surveyed the area and look for the temporary meeting place to be used for our weekly service. It was by the grace of God the He provided us a house for our transitory place of worship. By the 2nd week of June 2000 we started our 1st worship service at Purok 3, Crossing Kalubihon, Dalipuga, Iligan City bearing the church name "Outreach Bible Baptist Church". The Outreach Bible Baptist Church is an extension ministry of Riverspring Baptist Buble Church at Exceeding Blessings Ville, Purok 4, Luinab, Iligan City. Since then, that was the place we used as our worship area and parsonage. Gladly after two years a lady approached me and presented to me an available lot which was for sale at Purok 5E, Paitan, Dalipuga, Iligan City. We then negotiated the owner of that lot and agreed for a certain amount payable in installment basis. Year 2003 we started the earth work of our new location of our meeting place and by the graxce of God we slowly improve the building structure. Slowly also God entrusted us people to be a part of the mission ministry. We taught children during our extension classes during Saturdays and reached people through witnessing and gospel tracts. We, including some of the church members were involved in discipleship program to strengthen the spiritual life of every believer. Little by little God entrusted us people not only in Dalipuga area but also in different areas of Iligan City. I personally performed baptisms, funerals and burial rites for our members who wish to have one. As opportunities knocked on us, I was priviledged to teach values lessons weekly to Police personnel, Philippine Army personnel, and to 4P's beneficiaries in barangay Dalipuga sometime in 2013 to 2016. BVy the garce of God we as a chuch, continue to proclaim God's message of salvation to the lost and dying world. May the Great God help us fulfill His will in our lives. At present our church building is located at Purok 5E, Paitan, Dalipuga, Iligan City.
