ROCKPOINT CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES INC.

Rockpoint was conceptualized in January 2003 by Rev. Lysander Soriano and Ramela Derico. The former being a Youth Pastor of Good News Community Church in Mapandan and the latter being the Youth Women Leader of UP-Students for Christ in Los Banos, Laguna, presently known as destiny Church and Youth Leader of Christian Youth for the Nations under Jesus Our Firm Foundation Church in Nalsian-Bacayao Rd. Calasiao, Pangasinan. They officially started the church planting work in Lingayen in 2005. The couple relocated to Lingayen in the same year. They conducted Bible Studies, Fellowships, Counseling and other religious activities targeting the students of PSU. In 2007, the Pastor's family went back to Mapandan to establish the Good News Community Churches International Inc. also known as Great Life Church. The Church was under the covering of the denomination, Good News Worldwide Missions, Inc.- Baguio City. In 2020, the leaders decided to register the name Rockpoint Churched and Ministries, Inc. It is now an independent church and networks with other churches and parachurches in order to fulfill its mandate. As to date, it has between 1,000-1,500 membership base spread across Pangasinan cities and municipalities. The groups are under the close oversight of 144 Life Group Leaders and 12 Pastors.
