History:
On the first Sunday worship in July 1985, the First Baptist Church was established, an old name of Secured Opol Baptist Emblem Church Inc. First Baptist Church was not renewed or updated in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and also to avoid penalties, they registered a new religious sect and named it Secured Opol Baptist Emblem Church Inc. (SOBEC) which is also called their Mother Church. To look over the other Baptist churches in Misamis Oriental, they created an association named Misamis Oriental Corridor Baptist Association of Churches (MOCBAC), Inc. and under that association is their Religious Sect named Secured Opol Baptist Emblem Church Inc. (SOBEC). It has outreach churches at Brgy. Igpit, Brgy Taboc, Brgy Patag, Brgy. Malanang, Brgy. Luyong Bonbon and Brgy. Bagocboc (BGS). Their main church is located at Gabor Street., Bonbon, Opol, Misamis Oriental near RUSCO Motors which is along the highway of Bonbon, Opol, Misamis Oriental.
