THE SENIOR PASTOR OF THE OLIVE BRANCH OF JESUS CHRIST, INC.

Originally, The Olive Branch of Jesus Christ Church and now The Senior Pastor of the Olive Branch of Jesus Christ Church came from the Prayer Ground Church and now Jesus Spring of Eternal Life Church (JSEL). Due to the conflict between the Pastor and the majority of the Board of Directors was advised to resign for some personal issues and reasons. But some of the Board of Directors who were not against the Pastor with some of the members, decided to rescue the Pastor. On January 21, 2007, the small group organized and held the First Sunday service of Olive Branch of Jesus Christ church and now the Senior Pastor of the Olive Branch of Jesus Christ church led by few officers and ministered by Pastor Melanio Sinday Jr. in Abarca Street, Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur. The officers were: -Bro. Conrad G. Revote -Bro. James E. Olayan -Bro. Benjamin L. Ancla -Sis. Esther Ludy R. Revote -Sis. Grace T. Olayan -Sis. Eunice L. Galvez -Sis. Mellie C. Arcamo -Sis. Jessebel S. Delola Later, the church moved to Purok 4 Requina John Bosco District, Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur and formally incorporated on March 13, 2007 with more than 200 members. Since the humble beginning, the church has been blessed to have several God driven Ministers to serve the Lord. The following is a list of Ministers that have served as Pastors of Olive Branch of Jesus Christ Church: -Pastor Melanio Sinday Jr., January 2007-December 2009 -Pastor James Cañamo, January 2010-March 2013 -Pastor Jhovanie Genabe, April 2013-May 2014 -Pastor Albert Ty, June 2014-June 2015 -Pastor James Olayan, July 2015 to present Under the leadership of Pastor Melanio Sinday Jr., Olive Branch of Jesus Christ, now The Senior Pastor of the Olive Branch of Jesus Christ Church created some satellite churches in Raja Cabunsu-an, Lingig, Surigao del Sur and in Camanpanan, Lingig, Surigao del Sur. But after two years, the said satellite churches were dissolved due to the peace and order problems. Later, under the leadership of Pastor James Cañamo, Pastor Jhovanie Genabe and Pastor Albert Ty, the church again created the satellite churches in Salvacion, Monkayo, Compostela Valley, Davao del Sur, Coleto, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur and in Mahogany, Lingig, Surigao del Sur. After 3 years, the said satellite office again, turn-over to other evangelical churches due to far distance and personal reasons. In 2015 under the leadership of Pastor James Olayan, the church moved to Purok 4A, Plaza Street Barangay Tabon, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur and the church again created a satellite churches in (1) Sta. Cruz, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur led by Pastor Mario Mercado and (2) Danipas, Barangay Labisma, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur led by Pastor Nonie Diasmen. In October 2018, he transferred the church to corporate sole to resolve some issues and sometimes insufficient funds of the church resulted that some members to leave and ministries to stop the duties and responsibilities. In addition to its history of providing worship for its members, The Senior Pastor of the Olive Branch of Jesus Christ church has maintained an innovative and active outreach program in the community.
